I used to get about 27-28mpg highway in a late-90s MGM. They only have a 2.73 or so rear axle ratio, so very few RPMs at 70mph.

I tried to post a picture of it but it wasn’t happening ! Its actually Ms. TDI’s car. she only drives 5 miles to work and I drive 40 miles one way so thats why hers is so mint
